When one thinks of Boise, ID, some of the first things that come to mind are the beautiful rolling hills of the Boise Front, streams, trees and wildlife. Shadow Valley has managed to incorporate all of these wonderful features of Boise in to the golf course. Both the front and back nine feature picturesque views of the foothills, rocks, streams, waterfalls, flowers and trees to compliment lush fairways and manicured greens. It is a great combination of arboretum, wildlife preserve and golf course.
With 18-holes of championship golf, a beautiful practice facility, full service golf shop and restaurant, Shadow Valley provides for every player. The golf course has continuously matured into a setting that is considered one of the most enjoyable in the state. Our golf course makes the "walk" in the park enjoyable.
Shadow Valley Golf Course is home to one of the largest and most active Men's Associations in the state of Idaho. Over 500 members call Shadow Valley home each year. With monthly tournaments and very active twilight leagues, Shadow Valley has something for all players.
Shadow Valley also provides many opportunities for women to enjoy the game. The course is host to a women's twilight league on Tuesday nights along with play for women on Monday mornings. Shadow Valley also has Chapman events every Saturday evening.
The junior golf program at Shadow Valley is a model program for others in the Treasure Valley. Junior Association members enjoy many privileges including reduced green fees and free range balls. The Junior Program also has many tournaments, lessons and activities for the players to enjoy.
Shadow Valley is an 18-hole family-owned facility. The golf course has grown up over the past 30 years into the mature and interesting layout our golfers have come to know and enjoy today. The course is going through constant improvements and changes to enhance the player's experiences.
One of our most recent changes is re-designed tee complex on hole #2. We have enlarged the teeing area and built a new cart path that features sandstone curbing. This is a fantastic addition to an already great hole.
Similarly, we are home to the loyalty program. Every time you play golf or rent a cart at Shadow Valley you will earn a loyalty point per dollar spent. After you earn 330 points you will earn a free round of golf...
